Why it works this way

MetaPet School costs money to build and maintain. But children should not pay through exclusion, advertising, attention capture or behavioural data. So the complete classroom experience is free, and contributions from schools that can afford them help sustain it.

Good educational software costs money. Children should not pay with their identity, attention or behavioural data.

Optional: help sustain it

Contribution is annual, voluntary and invisible to students. It does not unlock anything, change any session, or alter a single screen a child sees.

Suggested annual contributions

Suggestions, not products. None of them changes what any school or any child receives.

Paid work that is genuinely separate

Blue $nake Studio does paid human work. None of it is a licence, and none of it is required to run the seven sessions.

  • Staff training — A facilitated session for a staff meeting or a professional learning block.
  • Facilitated implementation — Hands-on help planning a sequence across a year level or a network.
  • Custom curriculum work — Sessions written against a specific programme, unit or context.
  • Council or network deployment — Support for rolling out across several schools with shared governance review.
  • Bespoke workshops — One-off creative technology workshops for students or staff.
  • Commissioned Blue $nake Studio work — Design, software or creative work outside the school programme.

What we are not claiming

  • Contributions are not described as tax-deductible donations. That status has not been established.
  • There is no payment processor connected yet. Nothing on this page takes a card or collects payment details.
  • MetaPet School is early. It is being tested through small, carefully supported classroom pilots, and we are collecting evidence before making claims about outcomes.
